Email notification to employee after approval from supervisor/manager

As of now, there doesn't seem to be a notification (email), as and when the supervisor/manager (approver) has approved the request and sent it to the payroll admin. Addition of this would help employee in keeping a track of timely submission of sheets, if and when there might be a delay from the approver,
