If you have installed the Excel add-in for Journyx Reportlink and the Journyx menu option in Excel looks "disabled" like the screen below, there are a couple of ways to access the Journyx menu options.

Option 1:  Save your Excel file.  In 64-bit versions of Excel in particular, the Journyx menu might be disabled in a blank workbook/unsaved file.  If you save your file with a name and location, the Journyx menu will show the Username, Journyx URL and Date Range fields as open for editing.  You can then connect to your Journyx site and pull data into the saved file/workbook.

Option 2:  Disable and re-enable the Journyx Reportlink add-in in Excel settings.

  • Step 1:  Go to File-->Options-->Add-ins.  Click on Journyx Reportlink under active add-ins to select it.
  • Step 2:  Then click on Go at the bottom of the page to manage Excel Add-ins.  You should see Journyx Reportlink in a list with a checkmark next to it.
  • Step 3:  Un-check Journyx Reportlink and click OK.
  • Step 4:  Return to Step 1 and repeat Steps 1-3 except you will add the checkmark back to Journyx Reportlink on Step 3.

After completion of Step 4, the Journyx menu will show the Username, Journyx URL and Date Range fields as open for editing.  You can then connect to your Journyx site and pull data into the file/workbook.
